The youth we serve rarely have simple problems. Many have dropped out of school, but often that’s only a symptom of the myriad issues they face.
Many of the youth who come to us require immediate intervention because of domestic violence, substance abuse, or legal problems they can’t resolve on their own.
Our Frontline Staff
Our case managers are our frontline staff. They conduct an initial assessment of each youth, identify issues, and make referrals for in-house counseling to address emotional trauma or behavioral concerns.
Leveraging Community Resources
The case managers—who are “plugged in” to a wide range of community resources—assist with everything from helping a youth get a social security card or driver’s license to making arrangements for dental or medical care or helping find a place to live.
The YouthWorks case management team helps our youth not only to obtain much needed resources for living, but also to further their education, develop job skills, and take advantage of the job placement opportunities YouthWorks provides.
