Programs Overview
¡YouthWorks! takes a community approach to youth development, recognizing that given a supportive environment, youth can develop the healthy attitudes, behaviors, and skills necessary to assure a successful future and to become active productive members in their community. Counseling is an integral part of all ¡YouthWorks! programs.
¡YouthWorks! specializes in a full spectrum of culturally appropriate programs that assist high-risk youth; predominantly Hispanic and Native American, to develop job skill training, build educational skills, and develop healthy attitudes and behaviors necessary to assure a successful future. ¡YouthWorks! programs serve youth 5-21 years of age and are designed to inspire the development of pro-social behaviors by providing job skill training and placement, leadership education, and hands-on community work experience for high-risk adolescents and young adults.
